Camera Plans - 20/10/11

We got to show Jud and Mario our 'finished' shooting script today...sufficed to say it didn't go too well.  They immediately discovered flaws and continuity errors that Mat and I couldn't see, since we know how the set is going to look and how each shot goes as we've been through it a thousand times already, it's easy to forget no one else knows what it will be like.

However we started and finished camera plans (twice) to make the whole thing clearer for others to read, so they could get a sense of the films direction and how it would look on screen. I have to say this helped us a lot too, and will be a great deal of help when it comes to the storyboarding.

Also today, Jud and Mario went through the budgeting with the few people who turned up to class. This was also a great help as it gave us an idea of time scale and what generally happens in what order. I found this bit of info on YouTube that also shows how an animation might develop from storyboard to final film.
